Profile:

Our names are Clint and Robyn. We have been together for 13 years and married for 7. We have 3 great children, Chloe (5), Angus (4) and Molly (11 months). Of course there is our 4th Child the Pink Torana!!!!!

We purchased the car in 1994 after Clint had taken his little 6 cylinder Lc Torana to the Summernats and got the V8 bug. A short time after we got home he lost his license for a brief period and that was the green light to go V8 shopping. The only one that became available was this funny little pink thing in the Western Suburbs. He went for a ride in this blokes car and immediately the guy had a sale. When he came home to let me know he had purchased this fast car, I was quite exited as another door was opening in our lives. Then he told me it’s color!!!!! Strike me Pink.

Clint assured me this would be one of the first things to change. Cutting a long story short, the motor and some other bits took priority and the color just seemed to take a back seat, until it became apparent that the color was making the car noticeable. He entered a couple of competitions and did quite well as the combination of the car was good, and he started making a name for himself – You know the guy in the pink Torana!!!!!

After a while it was receiving a great reception most places we attended and the painting opportunity came up – finally,– However it was decided that the color was quite an attraction as there were a lot of LC Toranas on the scene. So pink she stayed but the color was brightened up a little to make more of an impact. And impact it did. Clint was consistently in the top 5 at most competitions with a couple of podium stands, but for us it seemed more about giving the spectators value for money and so it was reflected in most of the magazines covering these events.

We began to feature heavily in magazines landing the Front cover of Street Machine not once but TWICE. Including the Summernats special. That, we are very proud of.

We have made this very much a family interest with the kids helping out and enjoying some of the shows.
The street machine world is excellent, boys and their toys and ladies as well, there is nothing better than being amongst a group of people enjoying what we all love. CARS……
