Profile:

The F250 was built over a period of approx 8 months from a written off wreck. It was pulled down to a bear chassis for straightening and then the cab was repaired and refitted. Once this was completed the body builders set about their work of making a sleeper cab to fit. The original Ute tub was shortened to allow room for the sleeper and also refitted. Then the paint shop had a go at it and painted it up.

Motor trimmers, Huffy at D&J Huthwaite, then set about their work using Gazelle tan leather for a re-trim and also made housing for 12 inch subwoofer to fit between the seats. Suede was then added to the roof trim. The stereo was fitted by Wagga Car Radios and includes a fold out screen from the dash, 12 inch sub, DVD player and a remote screen mounted in the sleeper cab roof. Sign writer Tony at Auto FX then set to work for the finishing touches.

The F250 was purpose built as a custom vehicle to promote our business ‘Truck Art’ which specialises in custom built truck sleeper cabs. I will be going to Ute shows and field days with either this Ute or our Courier through out SA.
